We start in China, helping you choose the legal form, SARL or SARL AU, define your business activity and plan a compliant capital transfer. In Morocco we handle the name certificate, called the certificat négatif from OMPIC, the articles of association, the CRI filing for the RC, tax ID, ICE and CNSS, the capital deposit and your operating bank account.
Airport pickup, a SIM card and a tour of the city. Then the apartment search, a registered lease and utilities, your residence card and health insurance, plus driving license, a car, family residence and schooling, so you and your family settle in with ease.
Finding premises, hiring Moroccan staff, work permits for your Chinese team, licenses and trademark registration, accounting and tax setup, and business insurance, so you can get up and running.
Once you’re set up, we take care of VAT, CNSS and corporate tax filings and annual accounts, keep an eye on renewals such as residence, permits, lease and insurance with deadline reminders, and keep an interpreter and local coordinator on call.
A custom plan for Chinese manufacturers building a factory or export warehouse in an Industrial Acceleration Zone. These were formerly free zones, such as Kenitra’s Atlantic Free Zone, Tanger Med and Midparc. We handle zone comparison and site selection, the ZAI status application, customs and logistics, machinery import, recruiting and day to day operations. Tax and customs incentives are subject to the official rules and eligibility.

Strict rules on currency, business scope and premises mean early planning directly affects how you operate later.
The dirham is subject to exchange controls and isn’t freely convertible. Foreign investment must be brought in through compliant channels and properly declared before profits and capital can be sent out legally. Account opening, capital verification and release involve many steps, and missteps easily cause delays.
The exact wording of your business activity directly affects later industry licenses, tax treatment and operations. If it isn’t accurate at registration, changing it afterwards is cumbersome and slow.
The lease for your office or premises must be registered, or the registered address may not be recognized, which in turn affects company registration, bank account opening and residence applications.

Company registration usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks, including preparing your documents in China. The residence card, bank account and settling in need extra time, with the residence card usually about 1 to 3 months. The timing depends on your needs, your city and how quickly the authorities work, and we set out a schedule for you before signing.
Yes. You get one all-in price with registration, publication, certification and other official fees itemized. As long as the scope stays the same, nothing is added along the way.
Yes. We combine services around what you actually need, so residence, home search and settling in, bank account opening, interpreting and more can each be engaged on their own, priced per item.
No. Legal, accounting, notarial and sworn translation work is handled by locally licensed firms in Morocco that we select and coordinate. We manage the plan, the partners and the follow up, so you deal with one team.
Most sectors in Morocco allow 100% foreign ownership with no local partner required; a few restricted or licensed sectors are exceptions. The specifics depend on the applicable rules and authorities, and we set this out clearly in your plan.
For a SARL there is no legal minimum capital. In practice many companies set it around MAD 10,000 to make banking and operations easier. Where the capital is above MAD 100,000, the paid in part must be placed in a blocked bank account. We help you decide an amount that fits your business size, your residence needs and your funding.
Investment brought in through a bank in convertible currency and properly declared for foreign exchange can in principle have its profits, dividends and capital transferred out legally. This is subject to Morocco’s foreign exchange rules and tax clearance, and we help you set up the compliance from the start.
Yes. Expatriate staff generally need a work permit and a residence card, applied for by the employer. The work permit goes through the Ministry of Labour and an ANAPEC step and takes about 3 to 5 months in all. A company manager and shareholders can be exempt from the ANAPEC step. Exact requirements are set by the authorities, and we prepare the files and follow up throughout.
Tell us a bit about your plan and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours on business days with a recommended approach and an exact quote.
